Terms of use
Last updated: 6 October 2026.
These terms apply when you use the TaiTalk app and this website. By using TaiTalk you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use TaiTalk.
1. Who we are
TaiTalk is a product of Ayambil, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India ("we", "us"). Contact: support@taitalk.com.
2. The service
TaiTalk translates speech between two people as they talk, face to face and over calls (coming soon), using machine translation. Machine translation can be wrong, incomplete or late. Do not rely on TaiTalk alone where a mistake could cause harm: medical, legal, financial, safety or emergency matters need a qualified human interpreter.
3. Using TaiTalk
- If you are under 18, use TaiTalk with the permission of a parent or guardian.
- Tell the other person that the conversation is being translated by an app.
- Do not use TaiTalk for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or to record people without their consent.
- Do not try to obtain minutes in ways the app does not offer, for example by modifying the app or misusing promotions. We may suspend or close an account that does.
4. Minutes
Minutes are a prepaid allowance for using TaiTalk. Free minutes are a gift and may change over time. Minutes you buy are added to your account once Google Play confirms the payment; they do not expire, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another person. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and by Google Play before you pay.
5. Payments and refunds
All payments are made through Google Play, under Google Play's terms. Refunds are described in our refund and cancellation policy.
6. Privacy
What happens to what you say, and what we keep, is set out in the privacy policy.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep TaiTalk running and accurate, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, improve or stop parts of the service. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or on this page.
8. Liability
TaiTalk is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh have jurisdiction.
